Sam & Rick
There's never been a couple like Sam and Rick ... and there never will be again. These two were beautifully unique. They came to us wanting to infuse their wedding with personality, surprises and buckets of fun. The duo gave us a strong, unique, brief that included skulls, hot pinks, geometrics, and a modern meets eclectic style in a special setting - an old yacht club in Point Lonsdale overlooking beautiful Swan Bay. Of course, we thought that sounded exciting and just a little different, so we proceeded to co-design a day with them that really stood out from the rest.
Their day was full life and colour. Vibrant pinks, bright green foliage, gorgeous copper, crisp whites, tonnes of gorgeous festoons and pendant lights, lots of natural blonde timber and quite a bit of concrete came together to create a scene that really popped. The wedding was a family affair, with the bride's sister in law stepping in as the florist, family members baking an array of incredible desserts for the sweets spread and the bride's father managing to float a a vintage row boat out to sea adorned with flowers and candles.
It was a wedding highlighted by plenty of unique touches, from the gourmet popsicle cart to the family picture gallery suspended by vines, and from the guests being transported to the venue via heritage steam train to the punk rock band. All in all it was a day to remember.
